Monitor Calibration

Monitor Calibration: So that what you see is what you’ll get.

To calibrate your monitor you can use hardware tools like ColorVision Spyder, MonacoOPTIX, or Gretag Macbeth Eye-One. Or, you can rely on your own color matching abilities and go for a software calibration with something like Adobe Gamma. If you are using Adobe Photoshop on Windows or MacOS, use the Adobe Gamma Control Panel, which is automatically installed with the program. Do not use Adobe Gamma if you are working on the Macintosh and have already run the ColorSync Calibration Assistant.
