What technology do you use to print photographs?
Printroom.com uses digital printers with the highest quality silver halide chemical process as used by regular photo
finishers. This is direct digital continuous tone printing, which produces stunning photographic prints far
superior to ink-jets or die sublimation printers.
What type of paper do you use?
The photographs are printed on real photo paper.
In addition to the superior photo quality output, the real photo paper is durable and resistant to
fading. Just like regular film-based photographs, you can select matte, glossy, or pro lustre finish.
Will my prints last?
Printroom.com's photographs LAST! With our state of the art printing process, images will not fade away and the long-term results are the same as standard high quality 35mm photos.
What is Zoom & Crop?
Zoom & Crop allows you to select how your image will be printed. You now have the ability to remove unwanted
white borders when an image has proportions different from the selected print size (the image is either too long or too square). After
you select the quantities and size of prints in the shopping cart, you will have 4 Zoom & Crop options to choose from.
The example below shows an image with different proportions. If no crop is selected, the print will have white borders. You may either
select no crop and keep the white borders or select the best print from the Zoom & Crop options. If the
image's proportions are similar to the standard size print, Zoom & Crop will have little or no effect.
(Note: 8x10 photographs are printed and centered on 8.5x11 paper so there will always be some white borders.)

How long will the images be kept in the shopping cart?
The shopping cart is emptied when your order is placed or after 7 days of

Do you use secure ordering?
Yes. When you place an order or become a member, all information (including the
credit card transaction) is encrypted using our secure software server (SSL) before it is sent over the internet.
Our Secured Server can only read this information and data.
How long will it take to ship my photographs?
All orders are processed in 3 business days or less. After the order is processed,
it will be shipped from printroom.com. Shipping times will vary depending on the mail service you select:
US Postal Service, Priority, or Fed Ex.
How do I check or change my order status?

of all your orders including Order #, Date, Amount, and Order Status. You may click on any Order # to view
the order details. If the order status is: In Print Queue, you have the ability to change or modify your
address (not state due to tax implications), paper type, zoom to fill, and auto correct. Once the order
has been printed, no changes will be accepted.
