Frustrated by trying to figure out how to organize your images?
This new feature lets you control the images in your online storefront better than ever.
You can create Virtual Galleries to display images together without moving them from
their original galleries. Make a single Virtual Gallery from images in multiple galleries,
or create multiple Virtual Galleries from a single online gallery.
For example, Virtual Galleries can be used to collect images from multiple photographers with
separate sub-accounts into a single Virtual Gallery. Sales reports can separate sales by
photographer while presenting everyone's work side-by-side.
You can also use Virtual Galleries to present the same images in different collections.
For example, you might organize a wedding into different chronological galleries like
Getting Ready, Ceremony, and Reception. Now you can also create Virtual Galleries like
Photographer's Picks, Wedding Album, and Bride's Family.
Favorite shots? Orphan images? Multiple sub-accounts? Virtual Galleries let you
easily collect related images without compromising the organization of your
original files. Whenever a regular gallery won't quite suit your needs, a Virtual
Gallery can provide your storefront with exactly the organization it needs.
How it works:
Step 1: Create galleries and organize them into groups like you normally do.
Step 2: Create Virtual Gallery
From your main account page, select "Create V-Gallery."
Input a Virtual Gallery name and description. You can also select whether you want images in
a Virtual Gallery to be "Published" even if they are in a gallery or group that is unpublished.
Step 3: Add images to Virtual Gallery
To add images to a Virtual Gallery, go to
any gallery, select images and use the "Add to Virtual Gallery" drop-down menu.
To customers, the Virtual Gallery will look the same as your regular galleries.
