Alaska Trip - 2007  Diana and I took a cruise along Alaska's Inside Passage in July 2007. Prior to the cruise we spent a few days on the Washington coast.

A trip to Oregon  In Oct, 2006 my wife and I took a 3 week trip to the Pacific coast. We stayed for 10 days in Bandon OR. We made stops at Mt. St. Helens, Yellowstone NP, Craters of the Moon and the Badlands. I also took my first pelagic birding trip from Newport OR.

Arizona and Rocky Mtn NP trip  During August 4-16, 2006 I took a photo trip to Arizona and to Rocky Mountain National Park. Here are some of the photos from that trip.

Bosque del Apache-Nov 2007  I attended a photography workshop led by Art Morris. Here are some photos from the workshop and from a couple of days at Bosque on my own.

Corkscrew Swamp - Florida  In January 2008, I spent a day photographing at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in southeastern Florida. People are restricted to a 2.25 mile boardwalk so the birds and animals seem to go about their business as if no one was there.

St. Augustine Alligator Farm  In February 2007 Diana and I made a visit to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. The Night Herons and the Spoonbill are not captive birds.
