CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS This collection highlights some Christmas ornaments that caught my attention around Boston Quincy Market. Can you identify Faneuil Hall in the background of one of the images? Did you know that this building dates back to 1742?
SANTA CLAUS Santa Claus is my character here. This jolly old man from the North Pole likes to show off his long white beard and his bright red garments trimmed with fur. Welcome back, Saint Nick!
CHRISTMAS SNOWMEN I love snowmen. They always smile! Making human-featured characters out of snow is said to date back to the Middle Ages, when in Europe townfolks would make them in the narrow streets of their small villages.
CHRISTMAS NUTCRACKERS A nutcracker, at Christmas time, is more than a mechanical device to crack nuts open. These little wooden carvings in the form of soldiers, kings or knights evoke memories of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS I took these pictures in New York City, walking down Fifth Avenue on a rainy day. My favorite image is the one with the red umbrella reflected in a shop window together with a few New York yellow cabs.

AUTUMN LEAVES Leaves are beautiful year around. However, they become splendid in Autumn, when they fall to the ground and create a magnificent carpet. Each of these prints is a year-round reminder of the beauty of Autumn.
SCARECROWS AND PUMPKINS Every year, at the onset of Fall, we like to celebrate with the warm colors of this splendid season. Scarecrows and pumpkins are an integral part of the festivities. Here are some images from early morning outings with my camera.
